Werribee Open Range Zoo’s prehistoric journey through the Dinosaur River Trail is back bigger than ever before, offering a close-up experience with life-sized animatronic dinosaurs. Get reacquainted with the jaw-dropping Tyrannosaurus Rex and nine-metre tall Argentinosaurus.
This year there is also new Dino pals including the three-horned Triceratops. Zoo members and visitors can get their hands dirty to help research these mysterious creatures, become a palaeontologist for a day in the giant dig pits, and find out how they can save a surprisingly similar species from extinction.
