The Grand National Eisteddfod of Australasia, began in 1879 as the Young Men’s General Debating Society, Royal South Street has grown to become one of the largest and the longest running performing arts eisteddfod in Australia.
From June to November each year in Ballarat you will find performances from Debating, Pianoforte, Chopin, Speech and Drama, Bands, Instrumental Solos, Vocals, Dance, Calisthenics and more, including their latest discipline The Arts for All.
