My husband and I have been going to the Ulster on weekends when we are free from work, to sample the various beers they have on tap, which they change regularly. The service has always been prompt and friendly and the beers on range delicious. We went there for our wedding anniversary on a Saturday night. Again the service was friendly and professional and the food was fantastic. The scotch steak with jus was mouth watering and the pork with seasonal vegetables, kipfler potatoes and honeyed pears was perfect. We had "My wifes bitter" and a local red ale that tasted of salted caramel. Perfect night.
