Your hosts are traditional sheep breeders, Bill and Sharee Darmody, who share a strong connection to the land. Their farming enterprise consists of wool and prime lambs and the pair run about 4,000 sheep over 2,000 acres. For the past three decades the hard-working pair have called "Wantana" home. It is where they've raised their three children and breed sheep, which graze over the rolling hills. Since opening the farm stay in November 2015 they've had plenty of "lovely and interesting guests" who constantly remind the Darmody's of just how blessed they are to live in this part of the world. "We love to explain and show, when we can, the running of our farm," says Sharee, who is fit, fun and focused. "The difference between different sheep breeds, how wool is produced and where the lamb chops on their plate comes from. We enjoy meeting different people from all walks of life and letting them experience our little slice of heaven."
