The Adaminaby Stage Curtain was designed by two artists and two sewing ladies. The curtain took two and half years to complete by 85 men and women along with 31 school children. Their ages ranged from five to 85 years and the people were from 12 different countries.
The curtain is twill, with almost every type of craft being used to get the desired effect, a lot of recycled material was used in the project as well.
The background was painted by the Adaminaby Art class, sketching of the trees and scenery drawn by James Meverley.
The curtain depicts Adaminaby, old and new and also highlights the northern area of the Kosciuszko National Park.
