Taronga Western Plains Zoo in Dubbo has a free access area called the Savannah Visitor Plaza. The plaza is home to Information and Ticketing, Bakhita's Cafe, Zoo Shop, Savannah Function and Events Centre and the Safari Park Adventure Playground, all of which overlook a picturesque lake and islands, home to Spider Monkeys and Ring-tailed Lemurs.
There's plenty of space to kick back and relax in (or let the kids go wild in!), including a picnic ground with free barbecue area.
The free access Savannah Visitor Plaza is the perfect place to relax and enjoy a coffee or meal, pick up a Zoo souvenir, or simply watch the antics of the resident primates!
